DIY Clay Mask

DIY Clay Mask
Hey it's Jay ^^
Today, I got a tip, another face mask one. I know you're probably wondering why is there a cute kitten on the set, and yes there is also cat litter on the set, which is one of the ingredients in today's face mask. This is because cat litter is a helpful substance that can tighten your pores preventing your face from blackheads.

What you will need:
Cat litter (only $2, the expensive ones have chemicals used in it and you won't need those)
Water
Any face oil you love

Steps:
1) Pour a small amount of cat litter in a small cup or container

2) Pour a generous amount of water in the cat litter

3) Mix using a small spoon ^^

4) Add face oil of your choice and mix again

5) Make sure you have a clear and clean face - no make up - before applying this mixture. Apply the water that is in your mixture rather than the cat litter stones since it can be too rough for your skin.

6) Leave for 15 minutes. At the first 3 minutes it should start to dry, after 5 minutes you will begin to feel a slight dryness on your face ^^

7) After 15 minutes of waiting, wash it off with luke warm water.

8) Towel dry your face and apply a moisturiser on your face. Your skin should feel super soft ^^

Tip #2
Another mask maker that you can try is constantly whisking egg whites until it goes frothy. Apply this on your face and leave for 10 minutes. Now rinse ^^

I hope you like this tutorial and try it! ^^ If you have any problems with anything and with my sets, just pm us! ^^

DIY Brush Cleaner

DIY Brush Cleaner
Hey it's Jay and today I gotta tip for ya (:
This is how to clean your make-up brush using certain 'ingredients' that can be mixed at home.

You will need:
•Basic dish soap
•Extra virgin olive oil
•Small plate
•Small cup
•Brush guards

What to do:
1) Pour a little of the washing up liquid onto the plate.
2) Pour a little of the virgin olive oil onto the plate.
3) Take your make-up brush and use it to stir in a circular motion onto the liquid mixture.
4) Then wipe the brush onto your hand back and forth to get rid of the dirt.
5) Once you're done, place it on a kitchen towel.
6) Repeat these steps with your other make-up brushes.
7) Once you're finished stirring with all your dirty brushes, rinse them with cold water and swirl them on the palm of your hand to clean it off.
8) After rinsing them all, dry them with a kitchen towel.

Storing and drying your brushes:
Do NOT let your brushes dry standing up with the bristles facing upwards – this will ruin them!! Water will drip down the bristles into the brush and loosen the glue holding the hairs together. Eventually, the hairs will fall out and the handle will be ruined too.

1) Using brush guards slip them onto the brush.
2) Place your brushes (with the bristles facing downwards) into the small cup. This will eventually let the water excess out of the brush.

DIY Sugar & Olive Oil Scrub

DIY Sugar & Olive Oil Scrub
Hey! It's Jay :)
It's basically winter or coming near winter and to keep your skin fresh and cool for the cold weather is a fresh scrub! The main ingredients are sugar and olive oil and it's VERY easy to make, I promise you! :)

Things you need:
3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Organic or Regular Honey
½ Cup Organic Cane Sugar
Measuring utensils
Stirring stick
1 Clean container

What to do:
1) Add extra virgin olive oil to the container
2) Add the honey
3) Add the sugar
4) Stir well
TIP: make sure you add these ingredients in this order to keep the honey away out of the measuring utensil.

TIP: Do not store in a fridge.

How to apply:
1) Wash your face and make sure your makeup is completely removed before applying the scrub

2) Use a tiny spatula to scoop 1 little scoopful, and apply all over your face

3) Scrub in a broad, circular motion (avoid your eye area!)

4) After about 60 seconds, rinse off the mixture

5) Pat dry your face

6) Usually, my skin feels thoroughly moisturized, and I only apply my eye cream and acne solution after drying. But if you feel your skin still needs it, you can also apply moisturizer at this step.

7) Use only at nighttime, but not recommended for nightly use. If you have sensitive skin, try using it once a week. If you have oily skin, twice using it once a week or every 3-4 days.

BONUS: This scrub also works great on dry or rough skin on the rest of your body. Apply it to your heels and feet for an at-home pedi treatment!

Enjoy! :)

Recycle Your Roses!

Recycle Your Roses!
Hey, it's Jay ;)
Don't throw away those roses just yet! You can treat your feet by a soothing bath soak with these beautiful petals.

1) Instead of throwing fallen petals, save them! (:

2) Fill a bowl, bucket or bath with water and throw the petals in.

3) You may add a few tea bags.

4) That's it! Time to soak your feet and chill.

Your feet will smell awesome and feel soft. You can do this in a bathtub but cleaning up is tiring.

Enjoy! :)

DIY Lip Balm
Hey it's Jay :) I'm back from Philippines ^^
Have you ever made your own lip balm? This is the simple way you can ^^

Things you need:
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp almond oil
1/2 tsp grated beeswax

Combine all the ingredients and stick it into a microwave in a safe microwave container for 1-2 minutes. The beeswax should melt, and there, you just made your own lip balm! :)

You can even add your favorite lipstick for extra color by stirring a little in the mixture.

You can also store your lip balm in fancy bottles/containers too ^_^

I hope you try this and enjoy! Thanks :D

Panda Nails

Panda Nails
Hi This is Kaycee, I haven't made a nail set in a long time, so i apologize for that.

How to make Panda Nails.

Things you'll need:
Base coat
Dotting tool (2 sizes) (or toothpicks/bobby pins)
White nail polish
Black nail polish
Top coat

Steps:

1.Take out your supplies

2.Start with a base coat to protect your nails. This will keep your nails shiny and helps the polish to stay on longer. Wait for it to dry.

3.Apply a large circle on the top half of your nails with the white nail polish. Don't worry about messing up - you can clean it with some nail polish remover. Be careful to ensure that that the circle dries thoroughly before moving on to the rest of the steps.

4.Use your dotting tool ( or toothpick/bobby pins) to create two ears with the black nail polish. Wait for it to dry.

5.Add the eyes at the lower half of the large white circle with the black nail polish.

6. Add the nose right beneath the eyes..

7. After the eyes have dried, add two smaller circles with the white nail polish. Wait for it to dry

8. Apply the top coat after the eyes and nose are completely dry. This will protect your nails and the design from chipping. Make sure it is dry.

9. The design is complete, be sure to show your nails off as they will look super cute. If you tried it please comment below :)

Thank you for viewing this tip, i hope it worked for you, i will do another nail tip either today or tomorrow :D

Old Make-Up: Know when to toss it!

Old Make-Up: Know when to toss it!
Hey it's Jay (:
Ever thought how long you're suppose to keep a tube of lipstick? Or when to throw away some bits and bobs and when to buy new products? If you don't already, then you should! This will keep you organised and fresh (:

Lipstick: Some experts say keep for 1-2 years, some say 4 years (especially when you keep them in your refrigerator!) So how do you know when to throw it out? Well, take a big sniff of it! And if it smells rank then throw it out.

Lipglosses/chapsticks: 2 years

Powder eye shadow: 2 years

Cream eye shadow: 12-18 months

Eyeliner: 3 months

Mascara: 3 months

Powder blush: 3 years

Cream blush: 6 months

Oil-free foundation: 12 months

Cream foundation: 18 months

Concealer: 12-18 months

Lotions: 2 years

TIP: If you’re not already in the habit of doing so, get in the habit of labeling your beauty products with the date of first use. This way, you’ll always know how long you’ve been using a product and when it’s time to pitch it.

Egg & Olive Oil Mask for hair!

Egg & Olive Oil Mask for hair!
Hey! It's Jay :D
Another mask maker but this time, apply it on your hair!
I hope you like it :)

Things you'll need:
2 eggs
5 teaspoons of olive oil
Bowl
Whisk

Between chlorine and the sun, the summer does a lot of things to your hair. All you have to do to repair the damage is mix 2 eggs with 5 teaspoons of olive oil and massage this mixture into your hair (I know sounds weird but it's worth it!). Leave for half an hour before rinsing with cool water.

The oils and proteins will strengthen your hair and will add shine :)
